Microsoft Edge Chromium 108.0.1438.1 คือบราวเซอร์ใหม่ที่ไมโครซอฟท์ได้ปล่อยมาเพื่อสู้กับ Chrome ซึ่งตัวนี้จะใช้เอนจิ้น Chromium หน้าตาจะคล้ายกับ Google Chrome เวอร์ชั่นนี้ได้ทำการทดสอบแล้วเร็วกว่า Chrome แถมยังกินแรมน้อยกว่า ไมโครซอฟท์ประกาศให้ทดสอบ Microsoft Edge Insider ภายใต้เอนจินใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยไมโครซอฟท์แบ่งระดับของการทดสอบออกเป็น 3 channel ลักษณะเดียวกับ Chrome/Chromium ดังนี้
